Power of Amethyst and Infrared light emission

Can the Amethyst crystals create, emit or amplify infrared rays?

Some physics say "no" , it will be a violation of the Law of conservation of energy. They are completely true in physics terms. But only if we see the crystals as an isolated system.

If the system is open, and the external power is applied, the crystals will certainly emit energy.

Amethyst (like any other gems used in the hot stone practices) of course is not the source of infra-red heat itself. The crystals cannot produce power from nowhere.

There should always be an external source of power applied to the stones. For example they can be heated with electricity or wood fire (like in Pizza Stove), by sun or by hot water.
